Default Bees Enlisted to Attack Crows in Tokyo

Conservationists hope bees will repel the crows, based on the insects' tendency to attack anything dark-colored that approaches their hives. Young terns can't defend themselves against the crows, so we tried to find ways to protect them at the nesting site. As part of the project, the group sells about 660 pounds (300 kilograms) of honey.

Reminds me of that Simpsons episode where they get the snakes in to kill the frogs, then the bears in to kill the snakes....

When I read the title, I thought it said "cows" not "crows". It still doesn't seem to make much sense, somehow...

Craziest idea I've ever heard I thought we had problems with the bee population without sending them into pitch battle against a bunch of crows.
