We just released a video online about paper's contributions to negative environmental effects such as climate change. When you look at paper's entire life cycle, ranging from the destruction of trees to disposal in landfills, the environmental consequences certainly add up. However, I think what's interesting about our new video isn't that we present the facts about the problem itself, but we also present some practical consumer choices that could significantly reduce the problem. This is where recycling comes into play: recycling paper and buying recycled paper are positive choices. Simply using less paper can also greatly reduce the problems caused by our current paper consumption habits.
