My friend asked me to help her out on weekends voluteering at a dog orphanage. i agreed, but the thing is, i can't stand seen animals suffer, and would probably want to take them all home with me. my heart would break if i saw any animals in pain, especially puppies. Any advice on whether i should do it or not.
I think you should do it. I've done a bit and it's really rewarding. You have to go with the mindset that there will be some things that will upset you, but you're going there to make them all better.
With that, you can have a really rewarding experience. Have fun!
Hi, thanx for the advice. Turns out i agreed and spent a saturday at the orphanage, walking the dogs and playing with them. All the dogs were healthy, so i didnt get to see any suffering. it was a very rewardig experience and plan on doing it again sometime.
