I'm looking into green investments as a safer way to invest my money following the credit crunch for uk buy-to-lets. I'm interested in low entry deals and entry deals around 30-50 euros. I've looked into the countries that have the feed-in tariff in place with competitive financing options - germany has, however, currently sold out. Not interested in investing in stocks or funds.
Anyone got any ideas?

Not being nasty but (it is what I'm good at)
but scam spam or generaly interested
what roi are you looking for
what investment amounts

I hear oil is good to invest in at the moment and it would be the green thing to do (push price up reducing useage)

and try to not post the same message twice in different posts

Does it have to be investment in solar? There are some ethical investment schemes which might be of use (I don't go in for shares and stuff much).

Yeah it's solar photovoltaic i've been looking into. RIO isnt an issue to begin with as the loan will eat most of that up. But when the loan is settled, based on the fact that these will be locked down for 20 yrs with gov backing, it will be all profit in the longer term. I know people who have invested in Germany and have done very well from it, but they are sold out right now, and the feed-in is being reduced by 5% per year so keen to see what other countries have this set up for me to invest in...any ideas?
