Solar Energy Forum I have no doubt that we will be successful in harnessing the sun's energy.... If sunbeams were weapons of war, we would have had solar energy centuries ago. ~Sir George Porter

Default Solar Industry to Explode in Japan

Japan currently has the 2nd largest market for solar energy, but remains very dependent on imported energy. This will start to change as Prime Minister Fukuda's residential solar plan unfolds in 2009.

Japanese are wellknown for their technological knowhow. If they are moving towards solar in a big way, one can stay assured that they will create best and reasonably priced solution for solar power generation.

"Solar Industry to Explode in Japan"

Interestingly enough, the Nuclear Industry previously exploded in Japan (all the way back in 1945), as a result of energy "donated" by the US.A

Unfortunately, it had nothing to do with electricity generation...
