Default solar panels

Does anyone know how easy and affordable it would be for me to set up some solar panels for my townhouse condo? We don't use a lot of energy, it's just my girlfriend and I, and we are pretty conscious of our energy use. Even if we could set something up that I could even run part of our power from. Also does anyone know where I could find good, affordable solar panels? Preferably canadian sites, but any would be great. Any response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance everyone.

Easy and afforable aren't two words that I would neccessarily associate with solar power. Running everthing in a house/condo costs a fortune and is very complicated, however you could make a small system just to run your lighting, I did this myself for around £200.

I used a 30wp solar panel to charge a leasure battery and made a low voltage lighting circuit and a car type socket for charging mobile phone etc. It works a treat, no inverters or any complex stuff and I don't have to keep candles in the kitchen if there's a power cut!

I just wanted to say good for you. Even though your system will probably be small, it is another small bite out of the elephant. Good luck with your project.

You can have a small portable solar generator that can power your small appliances like lights, TV, laptop, mobile phone etc at a cost of about $300. It is pretty easy to have it.

You can learn how to prepare it yourself and save money at
