Default Solar for my Condominium?

I am extremely interested in haveing my home equiped with solar power. The rear of my condo faces south and the ptich of the roof is perfect since it faces south. I am curious to know what I might run into from the condo association if I were to try and get approval for panels on the roof? Any input or help would be great. Thanks

I don't know, I just wanted to say I think it's great that you're considering doing that. It might be an idea to mention where you are.

I wa thinking of the possibility of changing the by laws for the condo association to possibly make us a solar community. Maybe thats even better.

I called my condo management company. The problem I have right now is that this is a new development and there are only a few units occupied. They said that to get something like this voted on you would have to have 60 percent of the units occupied. It will be some time before this happens.

It must be frustrating to have to wait when you've got the roof facing the right way. Shame the developer didn't think to include it when it was being built. You're in the US?
