I heard this before, is it uses the same theory of heliostat ( hope i won't speel wrongly )? Will it cause any effect to the surrounding air temperature?

Interesting concept, but after many years of its promotion, I have still yet to see any solid evidence that suggests this is commercially viable. i.e. firm performance specs. I just cant see it competing cost effectively with other renewables yet.
