Yes it is hard to be politically correct when most leaders such as Idi Amin, Robert Mugabe, Levy Mwanawasa etc are all over the place. Even South Africa under Nelson Mandela seems to have trouble containing the violence.

Africa is a special place where we invented countries, but they invented tribes. Killing each other is a way of life for thousands of years, the problem is we made them far more efficient with mines and AK47's.

Most of the leaders like Idi Amin and others were supported by political leaders of one country or another. Idi Amin was supported by Russia.

wiki says about Robert Mugabe: "Mugabe has described his critics as "born again colonialists,"[7][8] and both he and his supporters claim that Zimbabwe's problems are the legacy of imperialism,[9] aggravated by Western economic meddling."

"In 1994 Mugabe was bestowed an honorary Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath by Queen Elizabeth II. This entitles him to use the postnominal letters KCB, but not to use the title "Sir." UK Foreign Affairs Select Committee called for the removal of this honour in 2003, but no action has yet been taken.[109]

He also holds several honorary degrees and doctorates from various international universities, though in June 2007, he became the first international figure ever to be stripped of an honorary degree by a British university, when the University of Edinburgh withdrew the degree awarded to him in 1984."

I entirely disagree on this. African tribes are considered to be one of the oldest tribes on earth. So inventing tribes is out of question.

Yes in few countries due to extreme torture towards the residents by the EU rulers, few military groups were formed to oppose the rulers then. After the rulers left their colonies, they came to the power.

Moreover who provided them with mines and AK47's? I don't even want to answer this question. I hope you are clever enough to find an answer.

Where is the water going to?

You seem happy to ignore the data on oil resources or to come out with some twaddle about the beauty of the Arctic. Is there oil there? Is there oil off Brazil ? The deeper waters of the European continental shelf.
Just focus on this one area .The USA still has 2/3 of its oil in the ground. TwoThirds. At current prices this is economical to recover.
The USA can copy the rest of us and increase their efficiency in oil use thus reducing demand .American cars do get 20 mpg,the latest cars can get 100mpg, lots of cars in use now do 40-80 mpg and this is improving all the time.

I hoped for an answer to my question, not to be insulted. I'd still like some facts or at least a link.

From what I've heard though, Since 1981 we have been discovering less oil than our usage per year ever since. It is now estimated we have discovered 95% to 98% of all oil on this planet because of the lack of discoveries in recent years.

Saudi Arabia has pumped in 7 million barrels of sea water to speed up production in the early 2000's. Another thing I read is most oil fields will hit peak oil limits between 2003 to 2015 and production will reverse around that time.

There are loads of assumptions regarding "Peak Oil" which changes from person to person. Biggest problem is that OPEC Mafia is very strong and they don't reveal any details out of their circle.

Though loads of assumptions are made, I really doubt about their accuracy.
