Would you have a rear view mirror on your bike?

One of the things that is so great about bikes is their simplicity. You don't need electricity and a lot of fancy stuff, a few lights for night and you are on your way. But then it is nice to see what is behind you... and a GPS unit would be helpful...oh, and what about a heart monitor? It is all here in this new Cerevellum rear view monitor for around $299, which is 50 bucks more than I paid for my bike.

I usually just keep checking behind me

Or you could buy a helmet which has a rearview mirror hidden inside so when you look up you see whose behind you. Should cost about the same as conventional helmets.

I've seen a few people riding about with proper style wing mirrors on each handlebar. I expect they were a bit cheaper than this fancy bit of kit

Looks pretty neat. If I cycled regularly, I probably wouldn't mind one of those. I can be a sucker for gadgets.

Don't reckon it'd be too distracting as most bikes these days have computers and stuff on the handlebar. This device looks like it combines all the measuring stuff plus giving you a view from behind you.
