The department stores start putting up their Christmas shops in early September and the tv stations have already started showing Christmas movies. I'm sure that's earlier than it has been in the past. It goes on for so long that by the time it really is getting close to Christmas it has become second nature to not take any notice. And then suddenly I realise I haven't sent my overseas cards yet!
Okay, movies... It's a Wonderful Life... the one with the song I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas in it (why do I get the feeling that song was used in two movies? Anyway, I'm thinking of the one with Rosemary Clooney)... Miracle on 34th Street (they usually show the recent version)... the Christmas episode of the mini-series From The Earth to the Moon... the Christmas episode of Mr Bean... I feel like I'm forgetting something.

Sadly, mine is Chevy Chase's Christmas Vacation - from a mispent youth.

'Save The Neck For Me Clark' is what I say every year, making my sister laugh. We're both 29...

Can't say I've ever seen the Italian Job, is it set at Christmas time?

Elf was good, but I cringe when the christmas movies would come on.

When I was a kid though, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory would come on every summer holidays just before christmas without fail. Oh the nightmares!
