Talking "Green Card" (1990)

This movie with Gerard Depardieu and Andie MacDowell is an allegory for biracial couples.
It was shot in NYC.

MacDowell's character, Bronte (arrogant but charming writing), keeps a garden on the roof of her apartment building. She is trying to help a foreigner obtain a green card so he can live in the United States. This foreigner, portrayed by Depardieu, is a musician and chef.

This movie is a favorite of me and my fiancee, but it also reminds us of the importance, ease, wisdom (and charm) of protecting our environment/Earth.
