Default Green movies

Here is a list of some all time favourite green movies you should rent:

1) An Inconvenient Truth - Al Gore's moving and poignant tribute to global warming will have you wanting to save the world
2) Erin Brokovich - With Julia Roberts in an Oscar winning role, Erin Brokovich is an inspiring movie about corporate pollution in a small Californian town.
3) Silkwood - This movie is about the mysterious death of Karen Silkwood, a metal worker at a plutonium processing plant. Karen was on her way to meet an investigative reporter about negligence at the plant when she suddenly died on a car accident. This is an Oscar nominated movie and worth the watch. It is also great to see Meryl Streep, Cher and Kurt Russell in their younger days.
4) A Civil Action - This gripping movie is a true life drama about polluted water and corporate greed. John Travolta plays a Boston lawyer who tries to save the day.
5) The Day After Tomorrow - This big budget disaster movie had audiences gaping at the dramatic special effects. It also got people talking about climate change.
6) Fire Down Below - Starring Steven Seagal, this action movie is about some big time polluters who tries to scare the locals into keeping quiet. Only Steven Seagal will be able to save the day.
7) Chinatown - This Oscar winning movie revolves around murder, adultery, deceit, dams, drought, agriculture, land grabs and L.A's water supply.

What about I heart Huckabees? Firefighter who hates petroleum!! " I am not a hero, but we could all be heroes if we stopped using petroleum"
OK the movie is not centered around that but it still has a lot of good environmental messages..
