My turn to re-open an old thread.

I was thinking along the lines of Blade Runner, or The Matrix. Movies about people struggling with long-abused ecosystems that simply stopped functioning well enough to provide for them.
I agree with the choice of Syriana.

I think for the Matrix it was because humans were fighting the robots and we blocked out the sun as they were solar powered, so the robots recycled us, I believe! Now that's recycling!!

I like Logan's Run, that's a good one. How about that Star Trek film with the Borg? They recycle people, don't they?

Actually, I'll stop there as I keep talking about recycling people and it makes me look a bit suspect!!
