thanks Ward for that input, as per usual, it was very interesting Danny Heim

I am not a scientist. I am a civil engineer-surveyor in private practice. I am 84 years old and have been studing weather and earthquakes most of my life. The program I started to write 40 years ago and finished 30 years ago gives me a heads up on climate change and a daily record of the changes taking place. Most of the change since 1623 has already takem place. A slow continued warming will take place over the next 4 years.
The release of stored heat will melt the glaciers from below. The crust heats up and cools faster than the oceans. On a daily basis, this will be seen in record electrical storms and storms in general. The crust adjustment resulting in earthquakes may take years to complete. The liquid core is pulled by both the Sun and the Moon over most of the Earth. The Moon makes rapid heat exchanges in the liquid core and because it moves with the Sun from solstice to solstice it presents constantly differring dynamics.

I forgot to tell you I've sent my question and pretty much the same text to Thuamology

I read your post, very interesting. Since you are a scientist I would like to ask your opinion about something I can't get a straight answer on. I don't have an opinion about what is causing this climate incident, but I do beleive one is happening because the ice is melting so fast and I myself have noticed changes in the weather over the years, I'm 55, so I've been watching awhile. I don't want to hear about CO2, cycles or even your theory with all due respect, though it sounds as good as any. What I want to know is what is going to happen to our physical world and when, don't care why. Personally I beleive it's out of our hands anyway when you hear reports saying "it's worse than we thought" all the time. Are we in danger? Should we be preparing for big events, or just go home and watch TV?
