    Hey there Tanguerra,

I just wanted to let you know about my new Eco-Friendly Travel company that is just about to launch! As fellow eco-evangelists, we need to work together!
I was wondering if you might know some sites or locations online that I might be able to network with folks that would use this technology?

Please visit us at Mappin.co and spread the word....were giving away great prizes for the top referrers.

Thanks again, lets save the world together!

Yes, I've been to Tassie. It's got good rainfall still and is very green. It's a beautiful part of the world.

    Hi tang,
Have you been over to Tasmania? Is it nice over there, and does the grass grow all right?

We have a very 'multicultural' society, certainly in the major cities so we have a lot of influences. 'Cafe' food tends to be very Italian influenced. Asian restaruants and takeaways like Thai, Malaysian, Japanese and Chinese feature pretty heavily. We have McDonalds and KFC of course like everywhere else in the planet. Australian home cooking is probably mostly based on English-style (especially in 'the bush') but is heavily influenced these days by Italian, Greek and so on in the city. Even a 'counter tea' (a traditional pub meal) these days is likely to have risotto or similar on the menu alongside the more traditional steak and chips type meal.

Well I suppose I expected a couple different dishes than other places, but I suppose with Australia's origins it would not be that different since it was a conglomeration of other cultures. Such as with America, where it is a conglomeration... And the fast food, of course. *GAG*

My feathers aren't ruffled. What do you think we eat in Australia?? We eat pretty much the same as everyone else. Lamb is cheaper here than other countries (although still can be expensive). Mutton is not so popular these days.

Sorry for ruffling your feathers. I really was expecting a better response from you.

Most Australians eat the same as anyone else. Do you think we eat wombats and kangaroos? Duh? We have a quite mulitcultural society as does almost everywhere now. Me, I'm a vegetarian.

    Hi Tanguerra,
I was just wondering what kind of things you eat over in Australia. Do you eat much lamb or mutton? How far has the Western "diet" infiltrated over there? Just out of curiosity.

You do know that very very few people actually believe in AGW because of the science, or because they want to 'save the environment' right?
