I found you some where in here

http://www.brockovichblog.com/saving_the_environment/

by way of google looking for the purpose of fossil fuel as how it functions for our planet.
and so glad I did

All things being equal ie. co2 feeds our trees, trees feed us oxygen, moisture rises from the ocean bringing much needed rain, etc... so oil must have another purpose for Earth sustainability other then providing a resourse for human consumption. Right???

That is my question for this life, any answers?
