I found this forum through Google. I was looking for a forum to discuss the environment, and this was first on the list.

You know, it's much easier to use Google Analytics. Just put a little code into the php of this site, and you'll have a ton of information about the users of your site. Try it, it's totally free and safe.

You found me on Google.

I believe my exact search was "green forums".

It was in June last year, typed in "Climate change forum". in what we all suspect "google". I think it was near the top. But since that week without the site, "environment forum" now finally brings up this site in the number 1 position instead of that try hard (forgotten it's name - and is now not showing on google), but it has some old members from here who Forfi (forfismums son scared away). But "climate change forum when entered into google, this site is nowhere to be seen. A whole heap of words that I use to write into google doesn't have the same response of showing the first five entries to this site no more.. When do you think it will recover from this Adi?

Just checked (climate change forum) doesn't show up this site at all in google for at least 6 pages. And I couldn't be bothered going further than that.

That other place is having server problems too.Come to think of most of the forums that I belong to have been down at timesover the past 2 weeks, could it be something that I said? Or are the server people getting greedy?
Anyway lots of the people that forfi is alleged to have scared away were already members of other forums 'cause I always check to see if there are any known numpties on the lists.Since running a few sites meself I keep an eye out for some folks and it can be interesting to see them post the same stuff year after year ,copy and paste, word for word.

Maybe the power that be are worried that another underground terrorist movement will arise due to conversations on environmental forums?

Post I'm not asking anyone to leave

To answer one of the most recent replies, although I can't argue against being a newbie, I can say I'm not here to "push" my site. I'm NOT selling anything. I would like some attention to it in the future as I voice my opinion and a few of my colleagues from the University of Michigan in the Environmental Studies Program. Right now, I don't have much content as I was doing exams until yesterday, so don't even bother with looking at my site right now. But in the near future, I will post some of my studies from the University, eco-products (latest LED bulbs, building your own solar panels, your own turbines.. just to name of few of my interests). As a former mechanical engineer (I decided to have a career switch after 2 years of studying) I still find the latest technologies and ideas very interesting and hope to combine my 2 skills to for some DIY projects or something... And yes, I do have ads on my site, thats about the only income I will have from my project/ website. Web hosting doesn't pay itself

So are you sold? are you ready to leave your warm comfortable place? I hope not, but I hope to make just one more warm comfortable place online.
