William Djubin
Default Real Time Environmentalist; William Djubin of EarthRehab

cut me some slack here, this is my first biography.

I have not always been an active Environmentalist, but I have always loved Nature.

Born in Hartford Connecticut in 1969, that makes me 39 years old.
We (mom and 2 sisters) moved to Miami Florida in 1974 due to a brutal divorce.
Since 1974 I have only left the State of Florida once, for business in North Carolina, which upon maturity of my 8 month per diem I returned promptly.

In Florida I’ve lived in Miami, Hollywood, Dania, Pembroke Pines, and Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, Ocala, Clearwater, Madeira Beach, Indian Rocks Beach, Juno Beach and finally Jupiter North Palm Beach.
I love to surf and snorkel; consequentially 90% of the year I will visit a Beach at least once per day.

The Ocean and the Waterways in Florida have always been my choice for solace, self-understanding and motivation, as I possess and analytical integrator mind style. (I think too much)
Funny thing happened when I met my wife, she is a certified Advanced Open Water, Cave, Rescue and Night Diver. She taught me how to interact with the under water world.
We have dived in Hawaii, Florida, Keys, Bahamas and Puerto Rico. Everywhere we dived the locals/dive masters would explain what the Reef used to look like and why it’s in such bad shape.

Then one fateful day it happened, we were relocated from the West Coast of Florida (Indian Rocks Beach) to North Palm Beach.
The Surfing in North Palm Beach is incredible; and the dive visibility is amazing,
The only thing holding me back continuously from having great times is the Pollution.
Palm Beach County ranks in the Top 10 for Pollution Counties in the USA.
Most of the Pollution is dumped into Waterways and the Atlantic Ocean.

It was easy to realize that I needed to share as much information with the people of the World about Florida’s pollution problem.

I am not a biologist, scientist, professor, climatologist, heck I don’t even have a degree.
I am studying Marine Biology and attend many Climate and Oceanographic Lectures and Expo’s
For the record I used to open Nightclubs and Bars in Florida, now I am searching for a job that will allow me to continue with my passion for Nature Research.

I wanted to know how I could bring attention to the issues we face with the Environment and to also help fund Nature Research.
So I invented a live-strong version of an Environmental Campaign, the My Green License Plate for Nature Research.
I, William Djubin sell a Green License Plate with proceeds to benefit front line Environmental Foundations and Sanctuaries and we have established an Independent Coral Reef Initiative.
The problem is that an Independent Coral Reef Initiative for North Palm Beach makes absolutely 0 sense with our current water pollution problem. The Live rock is completely covered in Algae and a thick dust like sediment. (it needs a good scrubbing)
In conclusion:
If we can slow or better yet stop the pollution I soundly believe that with a lot of elbow grease we can revive this Atlantic Reef Eco-system.
Currently I have many volunteers willing to donate unprecedented hours of service to revive a Coral Reef Eco-system in Palm Beach County.

Could you imagine reviving a Coral Reef Eco-system teeming with Invertebrates and Tropical Fishes, I can..

Full marks for doing Marine Biology William, that I hope to swing over to soon my self.
Jealous of the diving bit.
Is the thick dust bits of old folks who have moved to Florida to die?I mean if you allow them into the ocean then all that old skin an stuff will scour off
Seriously I wish you well in your efforts to clean up the pollution,a problem that is world wide.Forget wind and other gimmicks, lets go nuke and use the money saved to clean up our oceans and rivers.
