We had some really great threads last year, with the following four nominated for the Thread of the Year award in this January's Environment Site Awards ceremony.
I'm glad the membership here is active with posting and conservation. It seems like I'll feel quite comfortable, and will enjoy the "chilled out" aspects of hanging with you. The day to day grind can get pretty hard to take, and forum membership is something I take seriously, and get much pleasure from.
Most of the forums that I'm presently active in have a "be nice" rule. I like that.

If you stick around Dave you will find that there is a growing community feel here rather than a cold forum populated by single issue "experts".We do have our "parties" and virtual drinking habits [well some of us do]but back of it all are some very knowledgeable and caring people.Of course there are some posters that I swear are robots devoid of any humour or any real understanding of the complexity of our world .Without a sense of fun and humanity we may all just give up.
