Default Vote for Thom Yorke

I'm sorry but this just HAS to be done.

Myrtti found this BBC - Newsbeat - Music - Radiohead singer urges climate action and it htink it would be really interesting to interview him
1. About the campaign
2. About the relationship between celebraties and the whole climate change debate
3. About how he personally tries to reduce his impact (what with being a world famous musician and the like)
4. Why Rdiohead have never played a gig in Finland

*I hope I can work out how to do a poll here appologies in advance if it all goes horribly wrong*

And a special thank you for that one. It's one of the most crucial issues in the world at the moment.

Yeah, well it does impact on climate change. Think about it, surely the number of peope that would have to travel to Findland if Radiohead put on a gig there would be less than the number of Finish people that are forced to make a pilgrimage to another country so that they can see them before they die. Thus it would have a net reduction in air/ferry miles and help reduce the inpact of humans on the global environment

True. The closest they are coming on their tour is Denmark so it would require flying. Or a ferry. And who even wants to go to Denmark? They have terrible food and even more terrible beer. Or so I've heard...

You guys don't want much huh?

I'll certainly do my best. The only email address I can find for him is the one on their website about radiohead

As they probably get squillions of requests for stuff I don't know how likely a response will wing its way to me, so if anyone has any better contact info that'd be good

Just keep saying "go on go on go on" and he will give in.I will hold up a big banner at their gig in Ireland in June if you can't get him first. If I got a big box of rabbits and offered to murder them one by one unless he gives in,would that work ?

We never ask for things we can't get. And I'm sure the rabbits might work forfi.

How about trying to ask through the Big Ask campaign? As it would be promoting their cause. Also, you might want to emphasise the celebrity aspect because we would like a well rounded response and debate about the issues rather than just a promo for the cause.

Think folks. this is one of the biggest and most looked at Enviro sites on the web.Why do you think all the spammers come here? The Celebs should be emailing Adi right now to have their children's names put on the interview list never mind their own.Thom Yorke will come believe me.Then Chris Martin.I will be away when Madonna calls [if there is any justice in the world]

The promise of an evening with forfismum is irresistible.
