I sure do! They have been deemed as safe as "conventionaly bred crops" by so many scientific organizations that its tough to keep count!

Genetically Modified crops can contain genes from unrelated plant or even animal species, which confer on them radically altered physiological traits.

I'll leave alone thank you very much.

GE rice provides so little vitamin A that it would take 10 pounds (dry weight) of rice per day, to meet the recommended requirements. A two year old would need to eat 7 pounds a day.

Childhood blindness resulting in vitamin A deficiency could be cheaply distributed in a supplement, which would be more effective than golden rice. But better yet, why not implementing diversity crop farming practices that are naturally rich in vitamin A. They need to grow more fruits and vegetables with vitamin A content. The under class can not afford a healthy diet and can't afford to buy more expensive and untested seeds from the West. They need to give back more land to the people to increase self reliance, locally and internationally. This is the way to help the Third World nations fight against poverty and hunger.

Default GM foods

In all seriousness how on earth can you eat something that is modified genetically. First of all, the worlds top Scientists don't know enough about it and plainly clarify that. Not knowing what health risks may, or may not, appear. The strain gets stronger and stronger creating 'Super weeds' that can't be controlled. Now if this is effecting the genetic makeup of weeds, flowers and vegetables - what effect is it having on you?

Ever wondered if it is a coincidence that America has such a weight problem and GM foods being introduced? Look at the facts because fiction won't help in any manner.

The head of Britain's leading scientific academy accused the former environment minister Michael Meacher of "severely distorting" the scientific facts and uncertainties surrounding genetically modified foods.

Quote:
The furore over GM foods erupted once again on Sunday when Meacher published a newspaper article saying the government had ignored evidence that GM crops could be a hazard to human health. He had been environment minister for six years until losing his job on 13 June.

Also look at the interesting experiment The Institute of Science did:

and:

There are many other articles available but I would never ever consider GM foods. Why do we need GM, the world doesn't, we have enough food in the world. Monsanto, a food biotechnology company, can't be trusted.

Buy GM Free products and protect your health

So why is it that almost 900 million people in the world are classified as hungry?
