Society Adjusting energy usage habits

I have often thought about this notion and I think over the course of time, there may be some scope for humans to try to meet renewable energy if not half way, at least part of the way, by adjusting their lifestyles to better fit in with the seasonal weather cycles that the planet experiences each year. I think this is possible, but it will take time for us to adjust. We are so used to conquering our environment at all costs, but unfortunately that sometimes means that cost is an environmental cost.

Hopefully with the new global focus on renewable energy, new habits can be evolved to more better synchronize with the flow of nature in terms of weather cycles. I think this can apply domestic level and also commercially. But indeed all in good time.

Any suggestions for ways people can adjust?

I was wondering the other day whether it made any difference if people to go out at night versus having house parties.

Not specifically sure Spadlet, but I was thinking along the lines of for one example, the way we work. i.e. the way we schedule our work, our productive output to meet economic demands etc... For further example perhaps the way a factory schedules its manufacturing runs etc... so as to make use of renewable energy when its most abundant in supply.

I guess to some extent this might already be something that occurs with our existing energy supply. i.e. some factories might schedule their production runs to operate in times where electricity is cheaper, during off peak periods of demand etc... Anyway that's just one example I was thinking of.

Thus during periods where weather conditions for example do not best suit maximum renewable energy output, production might be scaled down and when renewable energy is abundant scaled up etc...

I think with Climate Change and adoption of renewable energy on a larger scale, we are going to have to adapt some things, in terms of the way we go about our daily lives.
