Default It's that easy...

does anyone drive a Prius? I've heard they're astronomically priced, but probably worth it.

I have a t-spirit (the one with nearly all the extras (found out about the autopark after I ordered it))
But it is a lease car I get a tax break for having one and the company gives me extra money as it is a green vehicle.

I would say it's worth it for me but in the uk it would of been cheaper for me to get a bmw or a merc.

All the other managers questioned my sanity as to why I was getting one. However we get a milage rate which at the current fuel prices means they loose money doing business miles where as I make money if I drive sensibly.

I average about 60 MPG and only need to fill my tank about once a week.
In my second car when I had to use that I had to fill the tank twice a week and I just can't drive that one in a sensible manner.

I do however have to choose a new car soon and I am still wondering which one to get.

Hybrid cars are a pretty good idea. But I favor electric cars much more despite the companies' continuing tendency to not be taken seriously enough. Tesla Motors though, I believe it's in the U.S., I think fairs a pretty good chance of making it. The only problem is they just wont come out with generally affordable cars for about 5 years according to their plan anyway.

But anyway I'm a student but had I the money I'd start off getting a hybrid car deffinitely until I could manage to pay off an electric.
