Oil prices are hovering close to $115 a barrel, having crossed the record mark on Thursday after a US inventory report raised concerns about supplies.

Oil prices crossed $117 a barrel for the first time after a militant group in Nigeria said it had attacked a Royal Dutch Shell-operated pipeline.

Light at the end of the tunnel,fuel is down2 cent here,but diesel is still more expensive than petrol.Could be that the heating oil demand in the USA is still high?

The oil refinery strike sure aint helping things.

One thing I am absolutely sure of with things like this though. When our government tells people here is no need to panic, guess what? They panic!

Oil prices have hit a fresh high just below $120 a barrel after a strike at a UK refinery disrupted production from the North Sea.

The price of a barrel of oil has passed the $122 mark for the first time.

US light crude hit a fresh high of $122.73 in New York trading, while London's Brent crude has passed $120 for the first time, hitting $120.99.
