Much the same again this morning, nice and sunny but with a distinct nip in the air.

Here in the South East of England we have experienced the worst Summer I can remember, which is quite a few.
Never before have the leaves on the trees in my garden started to turn at the end of August, and never before has my central heating triggered regularly since the last week of August.
Both the above are happening at least six weeks earlier than expected.
I'm a keen vegetable gardener, and this year is the latest I can remember my runner beans maturing, with no production until mid August.
Sure we’ve had warm spells, but nothing sustained, although the weathermen are continually trying to convince us that the weather is getting warmer.
It’s important that we make our own judgements and resist the propaganda.
I am personally unaware of any warming and indeed sway towards the opposite view.

Quite mild today with a hint of sunshine. Certainly warmer than it has been during the week.
