Nice and warm here today with some breeze for the sailing. Was much the same yesterday although there were some heavy showers, one predictably whilst I was out on my bike

The rain has been lovely I reckon. All that heat was getting a bit stifling.

Hey. This is interesting. While the rest of Europe has experienced a long summer of heat and soil-destroying draught, in the south-western parts of Norway the farmers are very, very happy! The summer has been so good to them! They're going to make more money than last year, and that's for certain. Because the weather has been UNUSUAL here. Like in the rest of Europe. Only that UNUSUAL here means BETTER than ever before. - And then, again, especially for the farmers. Large crops. Healthy animals.

Default Weather forecast fromm Greece

People, as i have already mentioned on a previous post of mine...today its early in the morning and the temperature is 37 degrees celcius!!!the weather forecast said that today it will rise to around 42 degrees.. i have to note that this is the temperature under shade. Which means that in teyh centre of athens and with so much air pollution the 42 degrees means 50 or something!!
im at work and im really afraid to leave !
sounds ridicilous but believe me it IS NOT!

We had a pretty dry summer and there were water shortages in much of the south-east of England but the past few weeks have been quite wet. I guess it must be even worse in Greece for water.
