Gorgeous day here today... 29 degrees. Went to a carnival just down the road...

LOL, no that would really be a last resort... I am working on an ice pack hat though and have succumbed to using a desk fan.

We had 52 people from a County Council office out working in a Local Nature Reserve - building boardwalks, surfacing paths, digging in info boards etc - on a team building exercise today (which involved me preparing a HUGE amount of materials and tools etc) and then we had our annual thankyou BBQ for our usual volunteers this evening (I've only just got in). No one actually collapsed on site, but I bet that a few of them will be regretting it tonight and tomorrow. I'm fairly shattered anyway.

It's a good thing that I enjoy my job...
