The only good news is that the "housing market" is declining. Thats about the only real way of slowing logging down.

I wish there was some way to make living in a "tipi" (Al. poles of course) again popular.

This 'ol planet can't take much more of this...

Fantastic article.

Its not the lack of laws but the profits in ignoring the lws, as the article indicates.

It would help if architects would start designing beautiful and economic homes that required no wood in construction.

But is that asking to much?
