Campaigners warned that allowing the move to go ahead would be "an unknown and worrying risk" for Britain's ecosystems.

That's exactly what it is and nothing less. I hope they consider the risks involved.

So it'd be an artificial tree farm full of trees good for biofuel? I presume birds and other wildlife would still want to nest in them and stuff?
