The Moon rhythm would shorten from 28.08 days July 29, 2008 perigee to 24.97 days September 20, 2008 perigee indicating an increasing force on Earth. The Sun system of force is increasing and the Planet Venus moving closer is causing the surface plates of Earth to tighten.

A M4.6 earthquake event occurred August 16, 2008 near Trinidad, California as the Moon was full Moon. The eclipse of the Moon as it was passing the intersection of Neptune was sufficient to release the surface tension in the surface plates.

A seismic disturbance will occur in California and around the world September 2, 2008. The solar configuration shows the Moon intersecting the cluster of planets Mercury, Venus and Mars.

Earthquake history in California near Acton with a similar solar configuration shows an event M5.8 August 23, 1952.

Hurricane Gustav is headed for New Orleans. Coincidently The Moon intersected the planet Saturn, one of the larger planets on the 30th at the highest peak of the wind speed.
As the hurricane was gathering momentum, the Moon was moving from Perigee on the 26th to new Moon On the 30th. The Moon was far enough off line so that no eclipse occurred.
Both the Sun and Moon were tracking at 8°30’N which would place the center of gravity of the liquid core moving at 29° N with New Orleans directly above.
The increased intensity of the storm reached its peak over the west end of Cuba as the Moon passed the intersection if Saturn.
The Moon is currently moving closer to Earth intensifying the magnetic field reaching its closet position at perigee on September 20 at the same time it is reaching its maximum speed toward the Sun on the Earth-Sun axis.
The Moon is approaching the alignment of three inner planets on September 1st. With an increasing magnetic field one should expect a similar scenario as the 30th peak winds over the west end of Cuba.

The intersection of the Moon with the three inner planets produced a moderate earthquake M3.0 September 1, 2008 11:39AM at Salton city, Ca. Apparently the planets were too far away to make much of a bump.
The intersection of the Moon with Jupiter on September 9, 2008 at 10:00AM may be more of a bump. Jupiter will be 500,000 miles closer to Earth then average. With the Moon 2 days past Apogee there will be a sudden release on the Liquid core and the crust.
An M6.0 earthquake with similar parameters occur August 22, 1952 at Bakersfield, Ca.

I'm at a loss to figure out how you know there was an earthquake on 28th September 2008. But in the next few days I expect an earthquake to coincide with me eating a pepperoni pizza.

Wow! Your predictions are amazing! Nevermind that there are 135 magnitude 3.0-3.9 earthquakes PER DAY around the world.

My next question is: have you checked the calendar lately? Today is September 4, 2008. Your post says that the moon "produced" [past tense] an earthquake on September 28, 2008 - 24 days from now.

If you want to pretend to be more omniscient, you can switch to predicting magnitude 5.0-5.9 earthquakes, which occur only twice per day. If you're really ready for a gamble, you can go with magnitude 6.0-6.9 (big earthquakes). Those occur only once every three days. You could predict those and then blame "geological inertia" if you are off by a day or two.

Fascinating. It is a pleasure to read a post by a real scientist. So much of the focus is on one varible: CO2 when there are so many varibles. You have added even more. Even if CO2 does what climatologists say it does, I pose the following question:

According to a greenhouse theory I read, visible light reaches earth's surface and is converted to long IR waves. These are absorbed, scattered, or reflected by carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases, including water vapor. According to the theory, this process warms things up. My question: Why wouldn't the increased humidity and clouds resulting from the warming, block the sun's visible light as it heads for earth, causing less energy to be absorbed by the earth's surface, and cause a cooling process offsetting the warming process?

The purpose of the information contained in the posts on this site is to show the present global warming is not man made. The medieval warm period from about 900 AD to 1850 AD was removed from the data of the IPCC. The “hockey stick” presented by the IPCC is a fraudulent construction made for politically guided agendas.

The information I present regarding potential earthquake sites are taken from my file on California earthquakes. I don’t have to be omniscient to show the relationship of past events with future solar configurations. FromJustTheFacts could start a similar file showing the date, location by lats and longs and the solar configuration at the time of each event and ,over time, could have a good tool to predict probable future events.

These events occurred as the Moon was approaching apogee on the 7th, the farthest distance from Earth. All systems of force, except the Sun, were in a force releasing mode. The longitude of the Moon and the longitude of the Planet system of force were intersecting. The Moon became the instrument of a release of force on the liquid inner core and the crust of the surface of Earth. This action will momentarily reduce the Magnetic field and the hurricanes will be less violent. That will change after the 7th as the Moon system of force increases its hold on the liquid core.
The reason for the omission of the period from 900 AD to 1850 AD is it reflects our current state of global warming which the political interest saw as a threat to their agenda. 800 AD was the beginning of the medieval warming period, the very same position found in the 1850 AD force system which began the current global warming period.
The next comparable ice age to the 1400 AD-1850 AD will begin 2300 AD and will last until 2700 AD.
