Direction of faults and earthquakes.


The Sun dictates most of the direction surface plates of Earth will move. The directional bearing of the coverage of the Sun’s drag on the surface crust of Earth moves from N66.5°W to 90°W to S66.5°w and back, moving the fastest as it crosses 90°W and lingering at 23° on both sides of the equator. Simultaneous with and modulating the Sun’s coverage of the Earth is the Moon system of force, equal in force, to all of the planets on the Sun in magnitude but not the range. The Moon moves in a full circle around the Earth increasing or decreasing the force of the drag of the Sun or applying force lateral to that of the Sun, as in full Moon and New Moon phases.

The direction of the dragging surface is 180° to the direction of drag of either body. When the zenith of the Sun is moving south of the equator, as it is now, the direction of drag is NW. Most of the surface mass of Earth is south of the equator. The most time with the greatest force of drag is during the last two months and the first two months of each year as the Sun seems to linger on the Earth-Sun axis south of the equator. The least dragging force is during two months on each side of the summer solstice, when the Sun is north of the equator

There are two forces working on the surface plates, both generated from below. One, the dragging forces of both the Sun and the Moon and two, the expanding Earth due to global warming and contracting due to global cooling. The pressure from below is more effective on the lighter material of the continents than on the ocean floors so that, given an equal pressure from below, the continents will move up the most during global warming or down the least during global cooling. The Sun moves the continents west over the ocean plates. The Moon moves the continents in every direction.

Most of the pressure is controlled by the Jupiter force system working on the Sun. This system appears to be a rhythm of about 1000 years from global warming to global cooling back to global warming. Extreme low forces have been reached in the winter of 104, winter of 284, fall of 601, winter of 1057, fall of 1195, summer of 1375, spring of 1555, fall of 1692, summer of 1872, spring 1969, winter of 2009, winter of 2052. The highest forces have been reached in the winter of 1445, fall of 1504, spring of 1564, the summer of 1623. No similar high forces will be reached until after the winter of 2239. This evidence indicates the future of the solar system will remain in a warmer global warming system for longer periods of time than has been the case in history prior to 1872.

The Chile earthquake event of November 14, 2007 gives us an idea of how this mechanism works. The course of the drag of both the Sun and the Moon were working together at N71°W.

At noon on November 9, 2007, 5 days before the M7.7 event in Chile, the zenith of the Sun and the Moon, with the Moon at new Moon phase and at apogee, were together over Chile.

The apogee position of the moon is similar to the summer solstice of the Earth. With respect to the Earth-Sun axis, it appears to linger, picking up speed as it approaches perigee where its maximum velocity occurs. Being at new Moon and with a weak Jupiter system of force and weak planet system of force, the Moon system of force was at its weakest force. All major force systems are weakening which increases the pressure from within the earth.

The Moon would reach perigee November 24. Every day, from 14:00 (2PM), the same forces were working over South America as the Moon moved slowly eastward 55 minutes(34 miles) later every day and beginning its releasing system toward Full Moon.

This system follows the same force system that raised the Andes mountains along the west coast of South America pulling the continents west over the Pacific plate from Australia west including Sumatra. This same system was involved in the Sumatra event of 2004. During the Sumatra event, at 1AM December 26, 2004 the zenith of the Sun was approaching the northeast coast of Australia dragging the Earth on a bearing of N67°W. The strongest area of the Sun cone of force was passing over the north end of Sumatra.

The evidence listed below shows the November 14, 2007 track of the zeniths of both the Sun and the Moon as they work their way west daily over South America. I have used the analysis of events below to show how the system works. The events will continue in the same areas around the world as the zenith of the Sun moves slowly south an additional 280 miles arriving at 23°S on December 21. Then it will retrace its track north arriving at the same configuration and time of the m7.7 event on January 8, 2008.

The Sun and Moon will be together again over South America December 9, 2007, January 8, 2008, February 7, 2008 and March 6, 2008. One can expect an increase of large events each month along the same track as the zenith of the Sun moves north covering the same ground back to the November 14 event.

The Latitude of San Francisco is 37.9°N. On May 5, 2008 about 1PM, the zenith of both bodies will be tracking over California with the most powerful part of the Sun cone of force over San Francisco and the Moon cone of force moving 5°N near new Moon.

At the time of the first event, the entire cone of force of the Sun and then the trailing Moon, 4000 miles east were acting on the South American plate. 4000 miles is the approximate effective diameter of the liquid core.

The drag of the cones of force under South America during the December solstice creates storage of energy during global cooling periods and the release of the energy during global warming periods. The direction of the movement is northwest during the December solstice and southwest during the summer solstice.

For 9 months out of the year The Sun and Moon are dragging the continent of South America over the rotating Pacific Plate.

The problem of biases
Many scientists are visionaries. One of the greatest was Nikola Testla. The Indian scientists Bose may have been a visionary also. He coined a phrase that is applicable to every person over the age of three. “A theological bias confounds ignorance with faith.” It matters not whether it is a scientific bias or a theological bias or simple a bias of ignorance. The body is used as a communication device. With the exercise of judgment and faith, the brain constructs a thought system based on the physical experience of the body or perhaps as a visionary from some other source. Without judgment and faith there would be no constructed thought system. Regardless of the source of the information, one living in a physical world cannot avoid the bias of a constructed thought system.
Shakespeare possessed a large vocabulary, having used 29,066 different words in his works with a total of almost 200,000 words. There was no real dictionary of English words during Shakespeare’s life. An English dictionary published in 1676 contained 25000 words. Shakespeare had to have been well read to learn such a large vocabulary and in addition had a remarkable capacity for memory. He used the constructed thought system to write plays and poems.
In 1593 and 1594 the theaters were closed because of plague giving Shakespeare time to write two narrative poems: Venus and Adonis and The Rape of Lucrece. In Venus and Adonis, an innocent Adonis rejects the sexual advances of Venus. Shakespeare was criticized for writing such a shallow work. No doubt stung by such criticism, he wrote The Rape of Lucrece, the virgin Lucrece is raped by the lustful Tarquin. The Rape of Lucrece contains about 7000 words and 4000 are only used once. It contains 1855 lines, each of which is a unique metaphor in lyrical form of ten syllables per line. This poem is the most intellectual poem I have ever read.
I mention this work because the Jupiter system of force was hovering around a low force of 173 at the time. We will reach this same low force September 1, 2008 and will continue on below to reach 150 in September 2010. In my opinion, similar types of disasters that occurred during Shakespeare’s time are probably occurring now.
My conclusions can be impeached by any bias of knowledge contrary the contents of my essays. Probably the most common occurs in my own family. My daughter’s husband is a minister and many of my friends are members of one religion or another. I have offspring missionaries around the world. I am the offspring of seventeen generations of Baptist evangelists. One of my engineering employees became a Episcopalian Priest and preached on Sundays in a church and worked as a public works director week days. As you can see, I have many points of opposition as the faith of each of the aforementioned associates come face to face with the faith of my biases.
In past essays listed on this site, I have explained the source of the formulas used in the computer program I wrote to organize the relationship of planets to one another and the Sun. The math is simple with a liberal uses of the law of sines in trigonometry and the analytical equations of a circle to determine from X,Y,Z, positions in space. The ephemerides came from the space program of the late 1970s and Newton’s law of force was applied to the calculated positions. Formulas for solids, hemispheres, circles and cones can be found in any physics text book.
The following is a good example of how one can confound ignorance with faith.
I and some of my associates journeyed to northern California to look at a mercury mine. One of my associated had constructed an indirect firing retort system to capture mercury vapor without the influence of outside chemistry. Among the group of possible investors in both the retort and the mine, were several scientists and a professor of geology from a university in southern California.
The professor had written a technical report on the mine sponsored by the scientists. I was studying geology at the time and I thought having the professor along that wrote the geological paper on the mine would give me a great opportunity to advance my knowledge of various rocks in the mine. I followed him closely as he explained the geology of the mine. I had read his report and in it he had mentioned “Chert” as one of the rocks associated with the mine. One of the rocks I was most curious about at the time was “Chert” and asked the professor if he would be kind enough to show to me a specimen of “Chert”. In no time he found a small piece of “Chert” and explained its mineral structure.
The professor and I became separated from the rest of the group. As we walked along together, he kept repeating in amazement, how what he saw at the mine was agreeing with his report. It was obvious he had never seen this mine and had cribbed his report from publish information. Soon, I lost interest in his companionship and struck out on my own to investigate the surrounding terrain and wilderness.
I found a large boulder of “Chert” about 2 feet square and hit the corner with my miner’s hammer, breaking off a piece the size of my fist. I stuck it in my pocket.
When I returned to the group gathered for lunch, I pulled the “Chert” out of my pocket to show my partner and before I could utter a word the professor grabbed the stone and began a lecture on the stone as an artifact of tools used by a certain group of prehistoric migratory peoples from anther land from a period of 11,000 years ago. I tried several times to interrupt his lecture to explain how I had acquired the stone, but being a professor he knew more than I did and continued his lecture. After all, he had seen hundreds of artifacts like this and knew what he was talking about. He had quickly buried himself so deep I did not have the heart to embarrass him, so I just listened
Later, when my partner and I were out of site of the rest of the group, I pulled the stone from my pocket to tell him about the stone. The professor had done such a good job in his lecture, my partner picked up the same incredulous spirit and marveled at my find. “Hold on,” I exclaimed and told him the true story. Then I added, “Be careful how seriously you take any of the professor’s recommendations concerning the mine. This is the first time he has seen the mine!”

GLOBAL warming from within the Earth
The following text was taken from the USGS internet site.
“Pinnacles National Monument encompasses a belt of Tertiary volcanic rocks (mostly tuff, breccia, and ash of rhyolite, dacite, and andesite composition). The location of the Pinnacles volcanic area near the San Andreas Fault has important implications for deciphering the geologic history of the San Andreas Fault System. Composition, texture, and geochronologic age-determinations suggest that Pinnacle's volcanics are equivalent to the Neenach Formation located on the east side of the fault zone and 195 miles (300 km) to the south (near Los Angeles). The Pinnacles volcano formed about 23 million years ago along the fault zone. The west side of the fault zone is moving northward relative to the east side at a pace of several centimeters per year. This movement occurs as both gradual creep and as episodic pulses associated with earthquakes. When travelling south along Highway 25 from Hollister, the road basically follows the trace of the San Andreas Fault System (which actually consists of a number of parallel and interconnected faults).”
“The Pinnacles are within the larger Gabilan Range, an uplifted belt of rock along the west side of the San Andreas Rift Zone (a valley associated with the fault system).”
“The Gabilan Range is still gradually rising relative to the Salinas Valley to the west. To the east, the Diablo Range has a core of ancient oceanic crustal rocks (mostly serpentinite and associated rocks) with a blanket of younger Cretaceous and Tertiary sedimentary rock formations.”
As noted, earthquakes are the result of strain releases along a fault line. Most can not be felt. As the magnitude increases above M3, they can be felt close to the vicinity of the movement. As the magnitude increases above M4 they begin to cause structural damage and rock slides. The constant movement of one inch per year horizontal and one quarter inch vertical can be used to roughly estimate the time to raise the mountain or move land forward. The summit of Mt. Diablo, just east of San Francisco, is 3850 feet elevation. During the process of its time of building era it took 185,000 years to build. The movement of the land from Los Angeles to the Pinnacles would take about 12 million years.
An earthquake event measuring M3.5 was recorded 12/11/2007. since then there has been 37 events reported to this date of 12/15/2007.
There have been more than 50 events recorded over the magnitude of 4.0 since 1882 between Parkfield, a few miles to the south and Hollister, a few miles to the north. An event of 6.5 was recorded 3/10/1922 at Parkfield and a 6.0 7/29/2004 at the Pinnacles
Parkfield is such an active earthquake area, the department of USGS have set up elaborate measuring devices there to measure many different aspects of earthquakes.
Kerry Sieh, a Caltech geologist, studies Southern California's earthquake history. Until his work, there was little information; the earliest reported quake, an apparently minor temblor described by a Spanish explorer, was chronicled in 1769. Seeking evidence of earlier quakes, Sieh in 1974 began a painstaking tour of hundreds of miles of the San Andreas Fault in central and southern California. The following year, under an ancient marsh that straddles the fault 88 km (55 miles) northeast of downtown Los Angeles, using a bulldozer, he dug a trench four meters (13 ft.) deep, he found several distinct breaks in the strata of sand, silt, gravel and peat that had been deposited on the bottom of the marsh over the centuries. Each break represented a sudden shift of at least a meter or two between the land masses on opposite sides of the fault—unmistakable signs of a major earthquake. Using radioactive-carbon dating techniques to determine the age of the dead organic material in the peat layers, he determined that the quakes occurred around A.D. 575, 665, 860, 965, 1190, 1245, 1470 and 1745. Thus the intervals between the quakes varied from 55 to 275 years.
The movement of the inner core against the surface of earth, near the Parkfield area seems to be constant. moving at the rate of one inch per year.
The release of the stored energy near Loa Angeles may be the result of intersecting fault lines of Earth surface masses that prevent movement so easily as Parkfield. One of the associated faults among the San Andreas network is the Grapevine escarpment where Hwy I-5 plunges into a canyon falling off of the north side of Tehachapi Mountains as they curve to the west. Fort Tejon was destroyed in the 1857 earthquake event near the summit of the Grapevine pass. While exploring the terrain near the fort, I found a large crystalline boulder about 10 feet across with one side displaying a silken side of polished stone. I have the equipment to cut and polish stone and recognized the effort nature had put into this work standing before me. The break of the rock formation caused movement along the fault line, first shearing the rock, and then polished it as it continued to move.
Analyzing the dated earthquakes measured by Sieh against the force curves produced by my earthquake program, there appears to be reasonable correlation. The first two reported were 545 and 665 occurred during the height of a Global cooling period of the era from AD 0 to 1000 years with a Jupiter releasing force for the years of less than 200. These events were 120 years apart: the rhythm of the intersecting large planets.

The events of 860 and 965 occurred during the Global warming period of the latter half of the AD 1000 years with a Jupiter releasing force for the years of 169 and 500 respectively. The interval of 195 years from the event of 665 was through the period of global cooling which would cause more resistance of movement in the crust extending the period of release one more rhythm of the larger planets. The 105 years form 860 to 965 shows a continuing relaxing in the surface crust coordinating the rhythm of the Moon and Venus with the rhythm of the outer planets.

From 965 to 1190 was the beginning of the second millennium global cooling period once again restricting the surface crust from movement. Then 55 years later 1245 it struck again when global cooling was still underway after a prolonged 41 year period of global warming and energy releases.

It would not strike again until 1470 near the peak of global cooling. The Jupiter force system dipped to below 160 releasing 225 years of strain build up.
The next large Earthquake occurred in 1745, 275 years from the last large event with a Jupiter force system of 650 and releasing. Once again close to the rhythm of the outer planets.

The next large Earthquake occurred in January 1857, 112 years from the last large event with a Jupiter Force system of 306 and releasing: also close to the same rhythm of the 860 and 965 events.
There is much evidence of electro-magnetic disturbance between the Earth and its atmosphere whether it is the movement of wind over the surface or the movement of the earth below the surface. The Loma Prieta earthquake October 17, 1989, was preceded by significant disturbances in the background magnetic field strength nearby. Large increases in extremely low frequency field strength were observed about 7 kilometers from the epicenter, up to two weeks in advance of the actual event. The measurement instrument was a single-axis search-coil magnetometer that was being used for research on radio communications with submarines by Prof. Antony C. Fraser-Smith of Stanford University. Signal strengths 20 times higher than normal were observed on October 3, rising to 60 times normal about three hours before the earthquake.
This earthquake was the first major event to occur along the San Andreas fault zone since the 1906 earthquake. The Loma Prieta earthquake ruptured the southernmost 40 km of the 1906 break.
Large earthquakes are still occurring at Antofagasta, Chile as a M6.0 and M6.2 was recorded 12/13/2007 and M6.7 was recorded 12/16/2007. The Moon phase approaching 1st quarter and all force systems are reducing. The Sun force system will be lingering along the Earth-Sun axis for several weeks before and after the December 21st solstice. This allows the planet system of force and the Moon system of force to prevail.
A 7.2 earthquake was recorded 12/19/2007 Aleutian Islands, Alasks. As with the Chile event, there will be continuous movement along the Aleutians and the entire boundary of the Pacific Ocean.
The current global warming system will continue to allow greater and greater movement along all fault lines around the world and an ever increasing volcanic activity.

Drag from the Sun

On 12/19/2007 beginning about 5:15 PM, eleven small earthquake events, over a time span of 30 minutes, were recorded near Mexicali, Mexico. Mexicali is near the northern end of the Sea of Cortez and south of the Salton Sea along the San Andreas fault.


When the zenith of the Sun was 23°25’S, 10°45’W over the Atlantic ocean the bearing of the drag was N66°35’W. The bearing from the northeast tip of South America to Mexicali, Mexico is N67°W and to San Francisco is about N63°W. The most active fault and the most free to move is the San Andreas following generally along the same course of bearing.


The 24/7 drag along the bearing of N66°35’W at the moment is working hourly on the entire Earth. The heaviest pressure of force and covering most of the Earth are the oceans. The major portion of the force is acting on a cone of force stretching over a distance of about two hours on both sides if the Sun’ zenith. This means that four hours prior to the events, the cone of force had been building pressure for the movement.

At the moment of the events at Mexicali, the tectonic plates of South America, Central America and Mexico were being dragged N66°35’W toward the southwest United States.

I suggest you publish this in some other format - not here. Really, I can't be bothered to work through these pages and pages of speculations. From sampling it seems everything you say is not based on observations of how the world actually works. It reminds me of Graham Hancock who proposed that the north pole had shifted within the last few 1000 years. He had misread a remark in a book by Hapgood published in the late 1950s containing a suggestion that has been disproved by later research on Plate Tectonics, but goes on being quoted by "eccentrics" years after it was disproved.

The science of global warning is actually very well established, however much you think it isn't. There is no need to look for other causes than those dealt with by the IPCC.
I suggest you put all this on a web site and then invite us to go there. I think it's a misuse of these pages to publish a book in them.

Sorry Richard, draypoker and others who don't understand but I would suggest you spend a small amount of time looking at the way the moon influences the oceans as well as the way all things act like a liquid in some way eventually and then with some of the basics you would understand what ward is trying to talk about.
