The IPCC homepage would be a good place to start:

I like this one because it has lots of links for both sides of the debate, plus a number of other resources:

Default Climate Change: The long and the short of it.

Recently the report "avoiding dangerous climate change" has been published by the UK department for environment (DEFRA). It is based on a feburary 2005 conference and is 400 pages long it is here:

I reviewed the science of the same coferece and produced a somewhat less comprehensive 20 page report here:

Here's an interesting site where you can get a graph of the average temperature for just about any place you want.

http://lwf.ncdc.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/res40.pl

I tried it for a bunch of places in Australia and couldn't see any trend up or down in average temperature. Must all be happening somewhere else.

UK Climate Impacts Programme (UKCIP) "Cutting Pack" link:

http://www.ukcip.org.uk/news_dets.asp?news_id=38

What is it, I hear you ask?

Quote:
A monthly literature search is conducted to identify relevant research on climate change science, climate change impacts and climate adaptation in response to these activities. The information is collated and summarised into a short (2-3 page) document providing the headline messages from key papers. Full references for each article included in the review are provided in a table that follows the summary. Reference details for papers of peripheral interest may also be provided in the table, but these papers are not necessarily discussed in the summary.

Two excellent web sites, giving opposing sides of the "hockey stick" graph controversy are:
opposing the hockey stick: <http://www.climateaudit.org/ >
supporting the hockey stick: <http://www.realclimate.org/>

To refresh your memory, the "hockey stick graph" was presented in a paper (about 1999) by Michael Mann et al, which reconstructs historic earth temperatures using tree rings. The controversy stems from the fact that the graph eliminated well acknowledged temperature fluctuations on the past such as the Medieval Warm Period (MWP) and the Little Ice Age(LIA).

A guide to finding out more about climate change on the web.

There are thousands of websites about climate change. We've gathered together a selection of the ones that we find useful and reliable.

Below are sites that we think make a good starting point for anyone who wants to know more. We've tried to pick a balance of sites from official institutions and sites which show the best citizen journalism.

There are many other reliable websites that we've not listed. However, climate change is a fiercely debated topic, and there are many sites which do not reflect the balance of scientific opinion. It's always worth looking at a range of sources to see whether an opinon is widely held. See our suggestions for researching science on the web.
