I think habitat destruction due to humans not getting their heads around the fact that they are PART of the ecosystems around them, not higher than them or lower and thus they need to select appropriate practices for the location. eg. not over grazing the highland areas of the UK and undergrazing the lowland ones. It's isn't even so much about over population of livestock, it's a distribution issue.
