According to the JogoGreen link:

"Trees Donated per day":

2008-04-24: 30
2008-04-25: 732
2008-04-26: 301
2008-04-27: 209
2008-04-28: 154

It is an original idea, and admittedly a very impressive first day response. But, the progressive falling off after the initial response gives interesting perspective to the idea of on-line quizzes (or other games) as a means of enlisting support for tree-planting. Regardless of my previously expressed reservations or cynicism, if this is "legit" I fully appreciate the aims and objectives of this initiative - the only question being - how does this performance to date reflect on the "sustainability" of the internet-game approach to promoting environmental awareness and action?

Further to which, how can these types of initiatives, even if fully credible, be promoted without coming off as "spamming"?
