This isn't a link to a solar company but I found it to be an interesting article that I wanted to share. Apparantly, the Idaho National Laboratory is working on developing solar cells that are up to 80% efficient and can even generate energy (albeit less of course) at night. Anyone heard of this before or can speculate on how soon we'll see this technology on the commercial market? Just think how much more energy can be harvested on a smaller surface area. If they can mass produce this technology and integrate it in products such as electric cars, it would be amazing.
