The 'car' miles of the Tesla are interesting. It's obviously fuel efficient but they are being assembled by Lotus Engineering in England, the electric motors are being manufactured by Tesla in Taiwan, the battery packs are being manufactured in Thailand. A lot of air miles there during construction.
