There are those that stand firm behind the belief that sea-level is actually decreasing. Don't buy into this rhetoric quite yet. We are currently heating and whether or not this results in isolated or widespread cold is irrelevant. The distribution of energy is what we should be focussed on. The 'tipping points' we so readily attribute to heating should be defined as transitions to states of chaos that most often than not result in dry, cold conditions. Our threat lies beyond the borders of mankind.
The question remains whether or not we are embroiled in some sort of freak (by our time-line) occurance. Let's be real...nobody really knows, and with the attribute of critical thinking being systematically erased from our society, the prospects of widespread scrutiny is diminished. We are more united than we allow ourselves to accept. This truth must be explored and rediscovered. We are very close to a tipping point which influence, money or smokescreens will be incapable of masking.
Life as we know it is changing. It is not about to change. Our small world is on the verge of becoming big again.
