Well, in America we are just beginning to create a green energy infrastructure. I guess in Europe they are doing the same thing, only way more ahead of us. Maybe instead of putting money into small projects that may or may not account for much, the money just goes into a gov't controlled fund. This fund could then be used to propel real and usable projects. Unless this is already happening, but I guess that is what taxes are for... This could be something extra like giving to a charity, eh?
In the long run, I agree, the current system is no good, which is why I haven't put any money towards carbon credits. Cheers
