However, it is still at an awesomely high level, and could drop at any stage, which would be a strong cooling influence. If you consider that the melting of our ice 'could' alter ocean circulation (potentially causing another mini-ice-age or worse) and combine this with the predicted decline of solar output we could have a recipe for disaster. We may be looking back on 2000-2010 as the good old days.
