And most people and more importantly most informed scientists do not. Localised weather forecasting and general trend predictions based on past observation are vastly different things. Of course areas have micro-climates, otherwise the globe would be utterly uniform climatically and nobody here is ignorant enough to contend that this is the case (or so I sincerely hope). Surely based upon your own quaint logic you must accept that what we are seeing is a
global warming simply because the vast majority of these 'micro-climates' are warming quite considerably at the same time...?
