The Environment Site Eco Kids: Kids Environmental Groups

Youth for Environmental Sanity
YES! is a non-profit organization that educates, inspires and empowers young people to join forces for social justice and environmental sanity. Founded in 1990 by 16-year-old Ocean Robbins and 19-year-old Ryan Eliason, at a time when Nancy Reagan was telling young people to "just say no," we help youth say "yes" to living with meaning, purpose, integrity and commitment. Today YES! is directed by the husband-wife team of Michele and Ocean Robbins, who serve as the organization's co-presidents.

Earthforce
Earth Force is youth for a change! Through Earth Force, youth discover and implement lasting solutions to environmental issues in their community. In the process they develop life-long habits of active citizenship and environmental stewardship. Educators turn to Earth Force for innovative tools to engage young people in community problem solving.

Kids F.A.C.E.®
Kids For A Clean Environment is an international children's environmental organization started in 1989 by nine-year old, Melissa Poe. The club, with a current membership of 300,000 in 15 countries, was established to help children who wanted to learn more about the world in which they live, provide a way for children to be involved in the protection of nature, and connect children with other children who share their concerns about global environmental issues. Kids F.A.C.E.® publishes and sends out an internet newsletter to members four times a year. Kids F.A.C.E.® members have distributed and planted over 4,000 trees. Membership is free to children and teachers.
